I am sure some of you have heard about the Rogers State University Reserve. It is located on the far side of the campus and encompasses 120 acres. It has several different walking trails covering several different areas. It even includes a dirt trail with bridges and stairs traversing the denser parts of the Reserve. On 10-08-2011 Rogers County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call from dispatch for a possible road rage that took place on Hwy. 412 and Turner Turnpike.

Shepherd’s Cross will be hosting their Annual Pumpkin Festival through October 29 every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10 am to 6:30 pm. There are many different activities for children including scarecrow making, hay rides, maze, story time, fall games, and a farm animal petting barn. The Shepherd’s Shop will be open with lots of fall goodies for sale including pumpkins, gourds, straw, cornstalks, and decorative fall items.

What a wonderful addition our city made in 1999. So many fun events our being held in the facility with new ones added all the time. Everything from Horse Show's, Craft Show's, Monster Truck Events and our very own RSU Hillcats use the facility for all its basketball games.
