LARCENY FROM THE HOUSE On 04/03/2012 deputies were dispatched to a home in reference to stolen medication. RP informed deputies he was having his up stares bathroom remodel after excepting several bids from different company's he and his wife signed a contract with a Tulsa Company who contracts their work out to other contractor's. RP stated he discovered medication missing from his residence after the contractors were in his residence the first time. The RP said his wife was taking pain meds after surgery and noticed the bottle of oxycodone should have had 42 pills and only contained 5 and she checked and found another old prescription of Hydrocodone which should have had 8 pills, was empty. The RP set up a deer camera in a cereal box and put 8 aspirin in a Hydrocodone bottle and put it in the cabinet. The RP set the camera across the room and the two contractors came at 0900 and worked until 1100. The RP checked the pill bottle when they left and 1 pill remained, the deer camera showed 4 frames of one of the contractors in the cabinet. The sheriff's office identified the thief and is currently working on arrest warrants. Sheriff Walton says it's always a good idea, when having anyone in your home to work, to hide or secure things like medications, jewelry and checkbooks.
